COLONEL KENNETH CORDIER, USAF (RET)

Colonel  Cordier is a highly regarded former Air Force fighter pilot who flew 176  missions in the F-4C Phantom II over North Vietnam.  Shot down by a SAM 2 missile, Colonel Cordier became a prisoner-of-war of the North Vietnamese.  Following the Vietnam War, the Colonel returned to active Air Force service, flying the F-4D Phantom II with the Tactical Air Command's 49th Tactical Fighter Wing.  The Colonel then served as Chief of War Plans Division, USAF Europe, followed by a tour as Deputy Commander for Operations of the 601 Tactical Control Wing, where he flew the OV-10 Bronco. Colonel Cordier's final Air Force assignment came in 1982, when he was selected to serve as the American Air Force Attache to Great Britain.
