GENERAL CHARLES A. GABRIEL, USAF (RET)****

Former Chief-of-Staff United States Air Force 1982-- 1986:
A highly accomplished and respected fighter pilot who saw extensive aerial combat during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.  General Gabriel is highly regarded for his efforts in rebuilding the fighting power of the U.S. Air Force following the neglect of the American Military in the years that immediately followed the Vietnam War, and for introducing a wide number of sophisticated new weapon systems into Air Force service.
