MAJOR GENERAL CHARLES R. BOND, USAF (RET)**

Army Air Corps trained Bomber pilot and AVG "Flying Tiger" Vice Squadron Leader and fighter ace.  While in AVG service, General Bond was credited with 8 &3/4  confirmed aerial kills. Following AVG service, the General returned to the Army Air Force and served as the American Air Attache in Moscow.  During the Vietnam War, General Bond was assigned to Thailand were he commanded all operations of the Air Force's 7th and 13th Air Forces that originated from U.S. air bases in Thailand.  The General retired from the Air Force as the commanding officer of the USAF's 12th Air Force.
