GENERAL BRYCE POE, USAF (RET)****

Former Commander of USAF  Logistic Command &  Commander-in- Chief USAF Europe: The General began his military flying career in the F-80 jet fighter.  In early 1950 the General was assigned to a photo-reconnaissance squadron in Japan, where flying the RF-80 he would fly the USAF's first war-time jet-powered photo-reconnaissance mission.  During the course of his Korean combat tour, the General would fly 90 combat missions.  During the Vietnam War, General Poe served as the Vice-Commander of the 460th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, where flying the RF-4C Phantom II, he flew 213 combat missions.  The General is a past-President of the United States Air Force Historical Foundation.
