ADMIRAL RICHARD C. MACKE, USN (RET)****

Former  Commander-in-Chief U.S. Pacific Fleet:  The Admiral is a highly regarded naval aviator who as the commander of a naval air attack squadron, introduced the navy's first operational A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft into combat during the Vietnam War.  The Admiral held a number important naval air commands throughout the world all during the 1970's and 1980's.  The Admiral is considered a leading authority on defense issues that affect the "Pacific Rim."  Now working in the private sector, the Admiral is a chief executive with a major international tele-communications company.
